Toyota launches first official pictures of the 2013 Toyota Vios ahead of it’s debut at this week’s Bangkok Motor Show.
The new five-door sedan made for the Eastern countries, has now a sharper and sportier look, with a frowned front fascia and a huge trapezoidal grille. This design was borrowed from the current generation Toyota Prius and US spec Camry and Avalon. There are no pictures that feature the rear-end of the car, so we will probably have to wait until it’s launch.
Toyota redesigned the interior as well. The instrument cluster is back behind the steering wheel and it features a sporty three-binnacle design with red backlight. The center console is lit in blue, with the air vents separating the audio and the air conditioning controls.
Judging only by the looks, the new Vios is a much more mature five-door sedan. As for the technical data and engine range, we will have to wait until it’s unveil at the 2013 Bangkok Motor Show.
