2013 Toyota Verso MPV Gets a Facelift

Toyota has just unveiled the 2013 Verso MPV, a heavily modified version of the existing model that will be shown at the Paris Motor Show at the end of the month. The styling changes have taken away the Corolla look and given the car lines similar to those on the new Auris or Yaris.

Toyota says the facelift for the Verso has no less than 470 different parts from the old model, from bumpers, to LED lights and pieces of interior trim. Toyota also improved the level of standard equipment, adding a 6.1 inch color display in the center console for all the trim levels.

The engine lineup is made up of a 2.0-liter diesel with 126 PS (124 hp) and a 2.2-liter diesel with either 150 PS (148bhp) or 177 PS (175bhp). There are also two petrol engines, the base 1.6-liter with 132 PS (130bhp) or a 1.8-liter with 147 PS (145bhp).

autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
