2013 Porsche Boxster S Tested
Now the the body was in one piece, we decided to take a break and get a better look of the new canvas top. Out of all the new visual tricks the Boxster plays, the roof is the most elegant. Now that Porsche’s roadster is truly mature, nothing would’ve suited it better than this new, elongated hat.
Yes, the canvas roof is nice, but this still doesn’t spare it from being folded once we set off again. Driving in the open-air mode seriously reduces the risk of any "kabang!" happening, as you really can’t push the car too hard due to the wind.
Nevertheless, the Boxster does a good job as a cruiser, so we’re enjoying the time spend at idle revs in the sixth ratio of the PDK gearbox that separates the driver from the passenger. We’re entering the city now, so we don’t quite have the time to continue the story, but you’ll find the rest of the roadster tale in our 2013 Porsche Boxster test drive.
