Despite being mainly a Korea car, it was designed by Peter Schreyer who came from Audi and incorporated the Tiger Nose grille. Yes, it was quite good looking.

Today, photos of a new-for-2013 K7 have emerged from an official presentation in the domestic market. Obviously, the changes have left the car with a whole new front end look, similar to all the new cars Kia has launched recently, like the K3 / Forte, Cee’d and K9 / Quoris.

There’s a completely new, more muscular bumper, and the headlights are much more imposing. There are some changes down the side of the K7 as well, new mirrors, added air vents that remind you of a Maserati and added chrome detailing

The updated K7 will become available in Korea next month, with the US debut likely in 2013.
