2013 Kawasaki Z800 Gets Street-Legal Race-Specced Scorpion Exhaust [Photo Gallery]
Built from aerospace-grade titanium and carbon fiber, the Scorpion RP-1 GP also comes with a "Red Power" tip inlay for killer looks. Hand-made for an absolute impeccable finish and construction, the Kawasaki Z800 RP-1 GP cans are also road-legal (at least in the UK), even though they provide a very hefty performance boost and are designed for track/race use mainly.
The Scorpion RP-1 GP provides a 2.75 HP gain while shaving massive weight off the bike, as it is no less than 6.35 kg () lighter than the OEM unit. It also brings 10 more dB to the overall noise, so you'd better check with your local noise and emissions regulations before the first outing.
No ECU tuning is needed after installing the Scorpion RP-1 GP. If you're not that fond of the GP-style cans, you can always choose a Scorpion Serket unit for a more classic look and slightly lower power gains.
