The Sportster Seventy-Two Harley-Davidson has prepared for 2013 carries the legend on, even if we're looking at a modern bike.
The 2013 Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two's classic styling is 40 years old, yet comes with a fresh air about it. The round retro chromed air cleaner cover speaks for it's legendary H-D character, while the 21” spoked front wheel with white-walled tires and peanut fuel tank are iconic elements which will never go out-fashioned.
Seventy-Two boasts a rubber-mounted 1,200cc Evolution engine which brings together the classic design combined with the modern-era electronic fuel injection. The 2013 Sportster Seventy-Two comes with forward-mounted controls, but with a mini ape-hanger handle bar, so it will be comfortable to ride in the city and on the open highway alike.
The next season's Seventy-Two chopper blasts a 73 ft-lbs (99Nm) torque and H-D claims it will do a combined 48 mpg (4.9 l/100 km). Prices start at $10,699 (8,275€) and reach $11,424 (8,836€) for the Hard Candy color option.
