2013 Dubai: Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Meo Costantini

It seems every Bugatti coming off the line today is a special edition, the latest being the Meo Costantini making its world debut yesterday. We'd say Dubai is indeed the perfect place to reveal a blue and chrome convertible Bugatti, and indeed there were a lot of cameras pointed in the right direction when the covers came off.

With the "Legend" series, Bugatti pays tribute to people who were important in its past. This latest derivatives of the Vitesse is named after Meo Costantini, head of the Bugatti factory race team (1927-1935), two-time Targa Florio winner in a Bugatti Type 35 and a close friend to Ettore Bugatti.

The powertrain remains the same 1200 hp version of the W16 engine, which allows this car to reach a to reach a top speed of 253 mph (408 km/h). The price of all this power and a chrome paintjob is a steep €2.09 ($2.81 / £1.76) million… plus taxes.
