2013 BMW R1200GS Scrambler by Nicolas Petit and Dietmar Franzen
Created as another tribute to BMW's 90-year-long bike-making history, the R1200GS Scrambler receives a complete re-working. Starting with the custom frame and engine, and ending up with the minute details, the new Scrambler is a performance-focused machine.
Dieter plans to add carbon-coated form tubes, gas cartridges, high-end shocks, lightweight forged pistons and connecting rods, aftermarket camshafts and revised heads to the build.
The throttle body is also new, and will have individual filters. A race-specced ECU is also on the list, as well as lightweight custom wheels and dual exhausts. A retro tank is mandatory, with air ducts underneath it. Wiring will be kept to bare necessities only. Check back with us soon for the first pics of the completed BMS R1200GS Scrambler.
