Not only has BMW made public the UK prices for the 2013 R1200GS, but they have also confirmed the day the British dealerships will be ready to sell the new adventure machine: UK tourers, March 2nd 2013 will be a great day for you!
BMW General Manager Adrian Roderick declares that the all-new liquid-cooled R1200GS will be available in three versions, each with a slightly bigger list of optional but functional features. First of all, the new bike retails for 200 GBP ($325, €245) less than the previous ABS model, and this means a more affordable tourer.
The basic R1200GS will be available in Alpine White Metallic, Thunder Grey Metallic, Blue Fire Metallic or Racing Red Metallic, with the partially inetgrated BMW ABS as standard and will retail for 11,395 GBP ($18,472, €14,024). However, two more UK-specific version will be available: the Touring Equipment and the Enduro, the TE and E-suffixed bikes.
The R1200GS TE retails for 13,815 GBP ($22,385, €17,000) and comes with certain enhancements:
