Since BMW recently released the facelifted version of the 7-Series, it was only natural that the Alpina version of the sedan would follow and now we are here to show it to you. The 2013 Alpina B7 is making its online appearance ahead of its public debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Compared to the factory stock 7-Series, the B7 uses over 30 new parts, such as a restyled front fascia that relies on LED technology for the fog lights, matching BMW’s LED headlight setup. The interior has also received attention, being gifted with new materials, both for the finish and for the trimming.
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been boosted by 41 hp and 22 lb-ft (30 Nm) of torque, and now offers the driver a total of 547 hp and 538 lb-ft (728 Nm) of torque. Channeled through an eight-speed automatic, these send the car past the 60 mph (96 km/h) mark in 4.3-4.4 seconds and offer it a top speed of 194 mph (312 km/h).
The 2013 Alpina B7 facelift is set to hit the US market in August, with the pricing staring at $128,495.
