US aftermarket developer TAG Motorsports is now giving us a new fruit of its passion for all things Audi. This comes in the form of a 2013 Audi RS5 that has received a set of interesting tech mods.
The coupe talks to the road via a KW DDC adjustable coil over system, which allows the driver to use his iPhone for controlling the ride height. Gone are the days when air suspension setup were not fit for the plush interior of your car. Now you can raise or lower your vehicle at the tap of the screen.
The wheels are shod in 295/25 R21 Michelin PS2 rubber, with this tire size being used all-round.
The engine compartment of this Audi was left untouched, which means we are dealing with a V8 that delivers 444 hp (that’s 450 PS) at a screaming 8,250 rpm. This has to be just what the custom exhaust doctor ordered. Wonder if the tuner also played with the 155 mph (250 km/h) electronic speed limiter of the RS5.
The key visual element of this transformation is a set of ADV.1 wheels
TAG Motorsports’ 2013 Audi RS5 rides on ADV7SL Track Spec wheels. The owner aimed for a conservative wheel color, which means the rims feature Matte Black centers and Polished Liquid Smoke lips. Nevertheless, there’s a strong contrast here, with the scheme implying the brake calipers. These use a Porsche Mexico Blue finish to draw attention and we can’t say they’re anything less than successful in their attempt to catch the eye.The wheels are shod in 295/25 R21 Michelin PS2 rubber, with this tire size being used all-round.
The icing on this tastefully restrained tuning cake comes from the exhaust
The final touch is brought by an AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust, which promises to bring a heavenly voice for the V8 under the hood. With more and more performance vehicles going down the forced induction route, having such a technical feature is a gift one must truly enjoy these days. The engine compartment of this Audi was left untouched, which means we are dealing with a V8 that delivers 444 hp (that’s 450 PS) at a screaming 8,250 rpm.
