Audi of America has recently released the pricing for the 2013 A8 3.0T model, with the standard version of the car starting at $73,095 and the long-wheel base incarnation starting at $79,395.

We are talking about the new entry-level model of the range, which is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter engine delivering 333 hp. The car is $6,530 less expensive than the model that uses the 4.2-liter FSI (direct-injected) V8 engine, which will be replaced by a fresh V8 unit this fall. Around the same time, the carmaker will bring the V6 TDI diesel engine on the US market for the A8.

Back to the A8 3.0T, this comes with EPA numbers of 17 mpg city and 28 mpg highway and has a list of standard features that includes heated 18-way power front seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, brushed aluminum and walnut trimming and others.
