FMS Automotive unveiled this awesome looking 1956 Beetle to this year’s SEMA Show, a fully restored car with a touch of the modern age. Their booth also came with a 2012 model for that “then and now” combination.
While the ‘56 was fully restored from the ground up, they also brought it into the modern age, with disc brakes on every corner. They also played with the engine but stopped short of turning this thing into a monster.

The styling is more modern and features a satin black paint accents, some chrome deletion and body colored front and rear bumpers.

Beetles built between 1953 and 1957 are widely considered to be of the best quality. The ‘W” decklid was built by hand and the steel used on the car was the best quality. It’s hard to believe this sexy mother of all cars is now 75 years old.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
