Mitsubishi’s British division is introducing the new model year (2012) Shogun (you might be more familiar with the Pajero designation) to the market this week, with the vehicle bringing moderate changes, one of the most important additions being an Euro V diesel engine.

The Shogun range now has new equipment levels: SG2 (entry level one), Warrior, SG3 and SG4 (the top one). The standard equipment list features goodies such as an army of airbags and 18-inch alloy rims.

The 2012 model year Shogun comes with a new chrome grille with slotted bars and thick dividers on either sides, fresh color-coded front bumper, black front skid plate and black roof rails. As for the interior changes, these include new materials, for both cloth and leather upholsteries, enhanced illumination for instruments and a brushed silver finish for power window control panels.

The pricing for the Mitsubishi Shogun range starts at £29,499 for the entry level SG2 model and climbs up to £40,999 for the top SG4 model.
