Up until now, only a few spyshots showing the models have been made public, pointing to a rather exciting line of new C63s. This week, however, thanks to the guys from evo-cars.de, the first photo which appears to show the C63 AMG in its 2011 guise has hit the web.
The changes brought to the model are not that extensive, limiting themselves at the front fascia, which received new headlamps, a single-bar grille and a new bumper design. The rest remains unchanged, interior included, and is based on the recently released 2012 C-Klasse model.
The interior got a new metallic finish for the surfaces of the controls, a modified instrument cluster, new trimming, modified center console, new instrument cluster with integrated display and a steering wheel borrowed from the CLS.
As for the engines, no additional info has been released yet. The C63 AMG will draw its power from the same unit in use today on the current version, meaning a 6.2l V8. The engine will be paired to a seven-speed MCT multi-clutch transmission.
More details about the new C36 AMG, now that the regular version of the C-Klasse has been revealed, are expected to surface soon. Keep an eye out for further updates, but probably not before the end of the year.
