2012 Mercedes Benz CLS US Pricing Starts at $71,300
There’s a new version of the car coming to the US this summer and the good news is that prices will start at $71,300 for the CLS550, excluding destination and delivery charge. The model packs a new biturbo, direct-injection 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces 402 horsepower and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.
The only other member of the range right now is the beastly CLS63 AMG, which is also powered by Mercedes’ new biturbo, direct-injection V8 engine. The 5.5-liter lump under the bonnet is rated at 518HP and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. Pricing for the range-topper starts at $94,900, not including a $875 destination and delivery charge.
"The new CLS63 AMG continues the success story of the previous models, the CLS55 AMG and CLS63 AMG, which have delighted our customers all around the world since 2004," according to Ola Kallenius, Head of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. "The CLS63 AMG is a unique high-performance car - it sets new standards in design, performance and efficiency."
