2012 Lexus CT 200h Gets F-Sport Pakage

Lexus’ luxury hybrid hatchback was only unveiled late last year, so it’s only natural that a 2012 model year update for the CT 200h, a model which we’ve extensively covered in one of our drive tests, shouldn’t bring too many radical changes.

The biggest change is that the F-Sport range of accessories that were originally shown on the concept model in October of last year are available for purchase. They come as a pack that includes stiffer F-Sport suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels and some cosmetics.

Inside, the F-Sport trim adds onto the Premium a model metal scuff plates, a perforated leather steering wheel and shift knob, aluminum pedals, and metallic trim.

The 2012 model also brings with it an audible warning system, which helps alert pedestrians and cyclists of an oncoming vehicle under certain conditions by emitting a low audible warning sound. A new color - Nebula Gray Pearl - will also replace the existing Smoky Granite Mica tone in the pallet.

Here’s the full list of changes brought about by the F Sport package:
  • 17-inch wheels with high-gloss finish and F-Sport wheel cap
  • Aluminum sport pedals
  • Black headliner
  • Black NuLuxe trimmed seats or perforated black leather-trimmed seats with white perforation holes
  • Exterior colors: Obsidian, Tungsten Pearl, Starfire Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl, Matador Red Mica or Ultrasonic Blue
  • F Sport exterior badge
  • F Sport-tuned suspension
  • Front grille with mesh pattern
  • Larger rear spoiler
  • Leather-trimmed shift knob
  • Metallic front scuff plates
  • Metallic trim added to dash panel
  • Perforated leather-trimmed steering wheel with F -Sport logo
The powertrain remains the same, consisting of a 1.8-liter engine matched to Toyota’s hybrid synergy drive system. Combined output of the two reaches 134 horsepower, good for a 0-60 mph time of 9.8 seconds.
