BMW revealed the brand new 3-Series a couple of weeks ago, and the automaker is now getting ready for the full marketing offensive. This is the most significant car in the lineup that the Bavarians showed in a long time, and to make sure that fans of the brand are satisfied, they want to put the focus on driving pleasure and pure performance.
BMW announced details of a new ad campaign today, starting with social media pages and print, with TV ads to follow in February, when the car hits showrooms across the world.
The campaign proves that BMW still belies in driving thrills, rear wheel drive, steering feel and... braking the rules in some way shape or form.
"With the campaign for the launch of the new BMW 3 Series, we have created a concept that is consistent through all the channels and offers our markets plenty of possibilities for adaptation", says Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Head of BMW Brand Communication.
"The launch campaign also integrates the fully hybrid model BMW ActiveHybrid 3, which will be appearing in the market in autumn 2012, and shows the connection between the sporty character and outstanding efficiency through the new combustion engines through to the innovative BMW ActiveHybrid drive technology," Hofmann added.
