2011 Toyota Highlander Revealed

What you see here is the 2011 Toyota Highlander. The image of the vehicle, together with some specifications for it have been revealed by various Russian sources.

The information related to the SUV comes from Russia, as the 2011 Toyota Highlander will make its world debut at the Moscow Auto Show later this month, with sales expected to debut soon after that.

The 2011 model year will bring a redesigned front fascia that shows a more bold design. The changes include the headlights, which now offer a sharper look , the grille, which comes with two horizontal lines instead of three and the front bumper. This offers a more sophisticated design that also manages to give the car a more rugged appearance and houses new fog lamps.

Toyota has not released the official specifications of the SUV, but the aforementioned sources claim that the vehicle will come with a 3.5 liter V6 engine delivering 273 hp. The unit will be mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. As for the North American market, this might get a different engine. The sources claim that will be a 2.7 liter four-cylinder unit.

In addition to that, the 2011 Toyota Highlander is also expected to receive a hybrid version that will follow the current eco trend of the market.

It seems that the North American market will get the same vehicle, which means that the design that you see in the here image will make its way to America in this form
