2011 SEMA: Mazda2 3dCarbon Concept

Mazda really hasn’t managed to impress us at this year’s SEMA Show. Adding a bigger engine to the Mazda2 is predictable and boring, and it’s not like bolder graphics and blacked out wheels will impress anybody.

It’s much the same case with this latest project that was brought to the convention, the Mazda2 3dCarbon Concept that’s a bit more down to earth than the Turbo we just showed you.

The concept features a custom body kit with a new air dam, side skirts, a rear lower diffuser and a wing at the top.

The set of black on green graphics balance out with the Eibach suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama S.drive 215/35R18 tires.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
