The exterior design of the vehicle has received minor but well-thought changes, with the list including a new front fascia and grille, fresh and rear spoilers, a new side door guard that uses a chrome finish, new front and rear tire deflectors and a chrome finish for the license plate support.
The Rogue range has been reinvented and now includes the S and SV trim levels, together with the sporty S Krom Edition (this comes with goodies such as 18 inch alloy rims).
Nissan offers updates like low rolling resistance tires and a new under-body cover, with the facelift also bringing new entertainment features The Rogue offers a 1 mpg fuel efficiency increase for both highway and city driving. The FWD model now has an EPA rating of 22/28 mpg while the 4WD offers 22/26 mpg.
Nissan’s North American arm announced that it will unveil the 2011 Rogue at the 23rd annual Z Car Convention in Nashville, an event that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Nissan Z Car.
"It seems appropriate to debut the new Rogue among this important gathering of Z enthusiasts, since Rogue shares many of the original Z's core values – exciting styling, excellent value and a fun-to-drive spirit," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, NNA.
"The Rogue S Krom Edition, with its more aggressive styling, sport-tuned exhaust and 18-inch wheels and tires, also fits right in among the many unique and modified Z cars appearing at the convention."
