2011 Dodge Challenger Uses Green With Envy Coat for Chicago Auto Show
The new coat can be ordered for the limited edition 2011 R/T Classic and for the range-topping SRT8 version. Before we move on, we have to mention that the R/T Classic comes with a tweaked suspension a beefed-up 5.7-liter HEMI V8 (the unit has been gifted with a cold-air induction system) that delivers 375 hp with the manual gearbox or 372 hp with the optional automatic tranny. The vehicle also brings a long list of standard equipment, with both tech and comfort goodies.
As for the SRT8 version, this brings 470 hp to the game. For this incarnation of the car, buyers can choose a Green With Envy finish for the seats.
Of course, before we end the show, we also have to mention the financial part of the story. While the Challenger R/T Classic Green With Envy will set you back $35,784, the SRT8 Green With Envy has a starting price of $44,875. The new goodies will debut at the Chicago Auto Show.
"We're using Green With Envy on the new 2011 Dodge Challengers to pay tribute to some of the coolest paint colors from our past, including the "Sublime" and "Green Go" Dodge Challengers from the 1970's and more recently, the "Snakeskin Green" Vipers from 2008-2010," said Ralph Gilles, President and CEO, Dodge Brand and Senior Vice President , Product Design - Chrysler Group LLC.

Namely she'll do 12.9-13.0sec on dry surface, under cool temparature! That's as fast as the Maserati GranTurismo S(433bhp), the Challenger R/T has phenomenal efficiency for a 370bhp, ohv unit.
Her Achilles heel is hefty body, thus the next-generation Challenger would realize the body 200kg lighter than current one, I do anticipate.
