2010 Hyundai Santa Fe UK Pricing Released
- Hyundai Santa Fe to come to the UK
- Prices to start from £21,495
- Only two trim levels offered
The new "R" diesel engine to come with the Santa Fe develops 194 bhp and 311 lb.-ft of torque, meaning a 26 to 27 percent improvement compared with the previous engine fitted on the Santa Fe. The SUV achieves naught to sixty acceleration in 9.8 seconds.
Visually, the new Santa Fe features chrome-edged three bar grille, revised headlight clusters, a more sculpted bumper at the front, a new bumper at the rear, trapezoidal exhaust pipes and new alloy wheel designs.
On the interior, the wood finish found in the previous model is replaced by carbon black trim.
The Santa Fe will only be offered in two trim levels, Style and Premium, each packing reversing sensors, ESP and air conditioning. The Premium adds 18-inch wheels, dual climate control with rear controls on seven-seat versions, heated leather seats with electric adjustment for the driver and automated lights and wipers.
"The new Santa Fe proves that exceptional performance and a high specification need not come at the expense of running costs or a sky-high purchase price. Despite the improvements in equipment levels and drivability, prices are actually lower compared with the outgoing model," Hyundai says in a release.
