Subaru introduced the Impreza XV, a crossover version of the Impreza 5 door model at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.
The car’s front end features a new family identity grille and an additional front bumper fascia, while on its sides we can find bold wheel arches side claddings and side sills that come in a black matte finish. At the rear end, the Impreza XV uses a rear spoiler and a black finish for the lower part of the bumper. The car is also fitted with black aluminum roof rails. Customers can choose from 5 exterior colors, including Obsidian black pearl, Satin white pearl, Spark silver metallic, Dark grey metallic and Camellia red pearl.
The car’s interior hasn’t been changed very much, as the only new features are some fresh themes for the upholstery. Standard features include a leather finish for the steering wheel, a complex audio control satellite mounted on the steering wheel and a leather wrapped gearshift knob.
The Impreza XV can be ordered with either the 2.0 liter boxer petrol engine, delivering 150HP and 196 Nm or a 2.0 liter turbo-diesel boxer unit offering 150 HP and 350 Nm of torque. The first unit can be matted to a five speed manual or to a four speed automatic transmission, while the diesel only comes with a six-speed manual gearbox.
All versions of the car use Subaru’s Symmetrical All Wheel Drive System. The Impreza crossover is connected to the road via 205/55 R 16 tires, mounted on aluminum rims.
