If you're a constant reader of our website, you've proabably noticed that from time to time, we like to show our readers what amazing cars are posted for sale on the great Internet.
It goes the same for auctions as today's British off-road jewel is going under the hammer at CarFest South on August 29th.

We're talking about a 1983 Land Rover 110 County Station Wagon V8, one of the most desirable models in the carmaker's lineup. You see, back in 1983 Land Rover launched the 90 and 110 models. These cars paved the way for what would become known as the Defender and guess what?

The most desirable model was the one we just mentioned above, mainly due to its 12 seats and the same 3.5-litre engine.

Coming back to the car in question, allow us to tell you it was first registered on January 1st, 1984 making it one of the earliest built. Also, it comes equipped with sliding windows, flush door handles and the "ultra-rare" seat-box mounted high and low range gear selector lever.

It also features a Rover V8 3.5 supplied by Dunsfold Land Rover and that good-looking body kit has been subjected to ten years of "painstaking restoration" by a "revered classic body shop specialist". Oh, and it's also been painted in Rolls-Royce Nutmeg Brown with old stock ‘County stripes' applied exactly as when new.

In case you're interested, please find out that the car is estimated at between £19,500 ($29,963, at current exchange rates) and £21,000 ($32,268, at current exchange rates).

"Given the uniqueness of this incredible Land Rover, coupled with the fact that 2015 heralds the final production run of this British icon, it has to be a shrewd investment. There really is no other like it,” said Guy Lees- Milne, General Manager, Classic Car Auctions.
