Between 1968 and 1976, the Blue Oval sold one of its most famous nameplates yet - the Torino. While most of the production run consisted of conventional four-door sedans and two-door hardtop coupes, some high-performance monsters slip through the assembly line and this blue machine is one of them.
What you can admire in the photo gallery below is a great condition 1971 Ford Torino Cobra, one of 117 examples made the year John Lennon released the hit single Imagine and the every radio station played the Stones' Brown Sugar. So yeah, this is an exquisite and rare piece of American muscle from an era when cars sounded as good as the popular music industry.

Packing a 429 cu.in. (7-liter) Cobra Jet V8 mill, this Grabber Blue slithering serpent is mated to a four-speed manual and comes with matching numbers on both engine and transmission. The powerplant, gearbox and other mechanicals have been overhauled recently, so this original 1971 Ford Torino Cobra is as good as it gets. The seller advertised his pride and joy for just $59,900, which is Mercedes E-Class Coupe money with a few options ticked from the list. But come on, how can you say no to such a legend?

Furthermore, this Cobra boasts with all original body panels, with show car quality both inside and out. Even ultra rare components like the original carburetor, radiator and fuel pump are still alive and kicking after the professional restoration, so what are you waiting for? This bad boy will sell in no time at all.
