Ladies and gentlemen collectors, we have come across a rather rare opportunity - the first Shelby GT350 that rolled off the production line back in 1969. This VIN #0001 GT 350 convertible is now up fro grabs, being offered for a cool US$ 495,000 (EUR 359,817 at the current exchange rates).
As an interesting fact, the built the first unit in right-hand drive. No wonder then that the car is now wearing Australian license plates. Just in case you like to go into the little details, the actual VIN number is 9F03M480001.

According to the description on DuPoint Registry, the Shelby now has 51,400 miles on it, being dressed in Calypso Coral with a Parchement interior. In mint condition, of course. Moreover, the miles are backed up by the proper documentation. One can simply look at the adjacent images and feel its 1969 all over again...

This baby runs 351 V8, coming with features such as a Shelby center-mounted exhaust and automatic power steering, as well as air conditioning. Ford only made 194 of these, with the vehicle description stating that this example had been “safetly locked away for 30 years”.
