Some cars are just naturally cool and demand attention, and we thing that this 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, just like the Plymouth Road Runner Superbird, is at the very top of the pecking order when it comes to comparing American classics.
Complete with an aero nose and huge wing, these cars were really affective on the track for their time and could reach the 200 mph barrier. 503 of them had to be built for homologation reasons so Chrysler could race it in 1969.
This green example is up for grabs on eBay and comes fitted with a 440 V8 delivering 375 horsepower. The drivetrain is made up of a 727 TorqueFlite transmission and a Dana rear end. The car is pricy but totally worth it!
“This is a relist and I would like to make something crystal clear! Anyone bidding please make sure you have your money available, and make sure your wife will let you buy this car, and most of all please contact me at the number listed below if you have any questions before the auction ends. I am a motivated seller but I am not going to give it away. Now some people think that there is a Daytona on every corner but that is not the case,” the seller amusingly says.
