1967 Ford Mustang Restomod Looks Venomous

It’s been about two weeks since we introduced you to the Shelby GT350CR by Classic Recreations, and time has come to show you yet another breathtaking Mustang-based restomod.

Before you say anything, we’re aware that horses can’t be venomous, unless they’re part of a weird Japanese cartoon. But it’s really not our fault, because the guys over at The RestoMod Store claim to have invented a new paint called “snakeskin viper green”. Would you expect us to pass on such great opportunity to add something new to the animal kingdom?

Getting back on the horse, this altered 1967 Ford Mustang fastback sports some of the coolest features found in the restomod segment, which basically offers classic design underpinned by modern technology. Besides using a custom Mustang body, bespoke paint job, and a Magnuson TVS supercharger place atop the Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, RestoMod decided to ditch the live rear axle and use a Heidts Pro-G independent rear suspension with Wilwood disc brakes.

According to Mustangs Daily, this mean green machine is also an award winner, having won the Builders Choice award at last week’s Goodguys 16th PPG Nationals. Thumbs up!
