1500-Harley-Davidson Parade at the Arizona Torch Ride
The Arizona Torch Ride is a charity event which raises funds for the Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ), and aims to help the 10,600+ registered athletes with intellectual disabilities get better physical training throughout the year. The proceedings of the Torch Ride will be donated to the SOAZ and will add to the efforts sponsors, donors and volunteers make to better the lives of the intellectually-challenged children and adults.
One of the main goals of the SOAZ is helping the over 180,000 Arizonans with intellectual disabilities to become healthier, productive and respected members in their communities, by means of sports training and dedicated competitions, support programs and more.
The 14th Annual Chester's Harley-Davidson Torch Ride online pre-registration is $25 before April 12 at noon, with a $30 fee on the event day. All registered participants receive a commemorative ride pin, a pancake breakfast and admission to the Cyclefest. They will also have the chance to meet Special Olympics Arizona athletes.
