Based on the Rimac Concept One, the Volar-E is powered by four electric motors with a combined maximum output of 1,000 HP and 737 lb-ft of torque, which makes it, at least according to Applus+Idiana, the world's most powerful EV.
When it comes to performance, the Volar-E is no lazy car, and can sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 186 mph (300 km/h) and can be achieved in 12.1 seconds.
Built in just four months, the European Commission-backed vehicle features a carbon fiber body, a tubular chromium-molybdenum chassis and carbon ceramic brakes.
The Volar-E's 35 kWh battery can be fully charged in just 15 to 20 minutes.
