The bad thing with tuning your engine is that you can blow it if you’re not careful or you can wear it out fast.
When a manufacturer makes an engine, he makes sure that it will work perfectly and safe for a long period of time. When you start adding turbos and fiddle around with the parameters, you will get more power, but you risk damaging the engine if it wasn’t built to sustain the amount of stress.
Sometimes, tuners play with the redline by taking it few hundred rpms higher, risking damaging the engine.
