One of the world's most interesting challenges reaches its 10th anniversary: the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey, a race which will bring 100 riders to the highest motorable road in the world in the Himalaya mountains, towards Khardung La.
The adventure spans across 27 days, for a total distance of more than 2700 km (1,680 miles) and the riders will form two groups which will rejoin on June 30 in Leh, for a special day of celebrations and motorcycle contests such as "slow race, assembly war, figure of eight and carry your bike," as Autocar India reports.
This year's Himalayan Odyssey gathered the largest number of Royal Enfield riders from India and from around the world. The race was flagged off by Shaji Koshy, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing . The riders should be back in India's capital city on July 8th.
