MV Agusta Brutale 990R Italy 150 Special Edition Launched

Celebrating 150 years of the Unification of Italy, the manufacturer of one of the most sought-after motorcycles in the world decided to launch a special dedicated livery scheme for the occasion. The exclusively-customized models will come in a limited number of just 150 units, based on the Brutale 990 model.

The newly released MV Agusta Brutale 990R Limited Edition features the Italian flag and the number 150 livery on dashboard cover, spoiler, and the tail end which for the occasion has become single seater.

These special edition machines retail for EUR15,890 (about USD26,665 at the current exchange rate).

The current MV Agusta Brutale 990R machine comes in three colors, namely pastel red, pastel white and pastel black. The street bike is powered by a 998cc four cylinder, four stroke, DOHC engine, capable of delivering 139 horsepower at 10,600 rpm and 106 Nm (78 lb.ft.) at 8,000 rpm. The Brutale 990R is capable of reaching a top speed of 265 km/h (165.5 mph) at 11,600 rpm.

“A unique motorcycle for a unique event. MV Agusta celebrates Italy’s 150th anniversary with a special series of Brutale 990R. Customized exclusively, limited to 150 customers only, which renders even more elite an Italian designed object of cult distinguished by a strong personality and perfect union of technology and style,”
a company statement reads.

“That which renders this motorcycle exclusive is the livery, highlighted by the dashboard cover which is of the same colour as the bodywork, the tail end which for the occasion has become single seater, and the spoiler: the Italian flag and the number 150 make this model immediately recognizable, also thanks to the motorcycle serial number which is inscribed on a plate located on the upper steering brace,”
the statement further adds.
