We're not sure if a hybrid would manage to rise to the expectations and become the hot ride everybody expects to see James Bond in, but it seems like in real life, the well-known actor pays some attention to the way his rides interact with the environment.
Daniel Craig decided to give up the Aston Martin DBS he was driving in Quantum of Solace (OK, we know that sounds a little bit awkward but seriously now, do you think that replacing an Aston Martin with another car is so easy?) and choose something a little bit less exotic.
Craig was seen while stepping out of a Lexus RX 450h, a hybrid model that seems to become more and more popular among Hollywood celebrities. Of course, the question remains: what if this is the new James Bond car for the movie that's supposed to be released at the end of 2011?
As far as we're concerned, using a hybrid would make the movie a lot more appealing, especially to us who enjoyed the Quantum of Solace chase with the two Alfas more than the whole film. But the RX 450h seems far from what it could be a James Bond car and, if you're asking us, a more appropriate solution could pretty well be searched for in the yard of Tesla Motors or maybe Venturi.
Anyway, it's still a good thing to see so many celebrities switching to hybrids and, until we'll finally find out the names of the models to star in the future sequel of the James Bond series, we'll let you with the full Quantum of Solace car chase.
