Hyundai is making all the efforts that are necessary to offers its flagship sedan, the Equus, a luxury aura.
When the vehicle was introduced, back at the 2010 New York Auto Show, the company said that it will wait for customers in showrooms, just like any other Hyundai vehicles. However, the company has decided to sell the car through a personalization program that takes place at the customers home of office, as lefthandnews reports.
Each client will be assisted by one of the automotive company’s specialists, who will also bring the vehicle along for a test drive. The customers will also use the car as a base for expressing his customization choices.
In addition to that, the South Korean carmaker will offer a valet service that will cover the vehicle’s maintenance. This all means that the owner won’t have to worry about visiting the dealer, neither before acquiring the car, nor after.
The story goes even further: Hyundai plans to offer the Equus with a digital owner’s manual, using an iPad. This will allow customers to schedule service sessions directly from the device, with the process then following the aforementioned path. The company will provide owners Genesis loaner vehicles during their vehicles’ servicing time.
The Equus promises to offer one of the top premium experiences in its class. This means that the vehicle will not only come with the aforementioned full luxury services package, but will also be packed with all the features you can imagine. The (starting) price for all this? $50,000 - $60,000.
