Ducati Monster 1100 by Rever Corsa and Christian Audigier

Built to show there are no limits to what ‘we can dream and create’, Rever Corsa is now offering the limited edition Ducati Monster 1100, customized in collaboration with the French fashion designer Christian Audigier, Luxist found out.

Unfortunately, only 25 units of this model will be produced, so if you have $55,000 stashed away to buy it, you should hurry up. That is if you like it, of course ...

What is so different from the standard Monster to make it worth the extra bucks? We still don’t know. If the technical features are something that could make you turn your attention to this exclusive model, the paintwork is a bit strange: those tigers painted on the bike’s tank should inspire fear, but instead, they turned up to be something hilarious.

However, the eccentric look of the bike is given by the gold paint scheme, quite inappropriate for a Monster, if you ask us.

However, Rever Corsa did a great job. This bike is powered by Ducati’s two-valve 1100 Dual spark engine in magnesium engine cases, performance cam shafts and an STM slipper clutch. This together with the Termignoni exhaust allow it to produce about 110 horsepower, 15 more than the original bike.

The Monster is also featuring some of the industry’s premier components, such as Ohlins front suspension, Ohlins TTX rear suspension (exclusive to this Monster). BST carbon fiber wheels, Ducati performance carbon fiber, Rizoma controls and black Brembo monoblocs grip Ducati racing brake rotors.

As for the one responsible with the artwork, you may know Christian Audigier from a few brands quite popular among Hollywood celebrities, such as Von Dutch and Ed Hardy, or from the tattooed Lamborghini Murcielago which he created last year with Edo Competition.
