Bumblebee Camaro Unexpected Crash During Filming

Yet another unplanned crash took place on the set of Transformers 3 movie, which is set to debut in theaters in mid-2011. This time, a Bumblebee Camaro crashing into a cop car was caught on footage, a scene that was not actually featured in the production team's script.

It appears that a DC Police Chevy Suburban responded to an emergency call and it managed to get inside the closed set. The police vehicle collided with the Bumblebee Camaro that was just being used to film some action scenes.

Reports from the scene confirmed the Police officer driving the Chevy Suburban was taken to the hospital with minor injuries while film director Michael Bay’s team will need a replacement for the yellow Camaro involved in the incident.

Sadly for all Transformers fans, aside from the fact that it will no longer have Megan Fox in the cast, this third movie might also be the last. According to what is known so far, the new movie deepens the ties the Transformers have with our planet and its history.

Bay will take viewers into the dark corners of the USSR-US cold war, where apparently a hidden Transformer lurked and directed the space race between the two superpowers.

The sequel to Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, also dubbed ‘The Dark of the Moon, will come in Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.

Fans will not miss Fox too much, as it appears that Shia’s character, Sam, is now set to be assigned a new love interest, who will be played by English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She had worked with director Michael Bay before in various Victoria’s Secret commercials.
