Audi Q5 by B&B

The tuning company from Siegen, Germany, made a name for itself by tuning Volkswagen and Audi production models. Now they've come up with a brand new tuning program for the Audi Q5. The tweaks made to the vehicle allow it to reach 325 hp and 640 Nm (472 ft-lb) of torque in the final tuning stage.

For the Audi Q5 with the 3.0 TDI diesel engine, the tuner offers 3 stages of engine performance. The first stage comprises of tuning the electronic unit and increasing the turbo's boost pressure by 0.15 bar. With this mods, the car achieves 280 hp and 585 Nm (431 ft-lb) of torque, for the cost of 1,298 euro.

The second engine tuning stage for the 3.0 TDI power plant raises Audi's Q5 performance to 300 hp and 600 Nm (442 ft-lb) of torque for the price of 1,498 euro. The final stage for the 3.0 TDI engine tuning implies a modification in injection phases and elements along with tuning of the suction pipe, airflow and the air cooling system. This will push the car to a maximum power of 325 hp and 640 Nm (472 ft-lb).

For the Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI engine, the tuner has prepared 4 engine stages. The first consists of the usual ECU remap and slight turbo pressure boost that will make the car achieve 250 hp and 400 Nm (295 ft-lb) of torque, for 998 euro. The second stage boosts the car to 260 hp and the third to 295 hp.

The final engine tuning stage available for the 2.0 TFSI will reach 310 hp and 465 Nm (342 ft-lb) of torque. This can be achieved by mounting a special exhaust phase turbocharger with changed airflow and a special air cooling system. The engine gets a remapped ECU and a slim line oil cooler is installed for optimal oil temperature. B&B also mounts a sport exhaust system in order to reduce exhaust back pressure, as well as a high quality sport catalyst.

The tuner prepared several tuning stages for the 2.0 TDI engine as well, boosting its power from the standard 170 hp and 350 Nm (258 ft-lb) to 200 hp and 400 Nm (295ft-lb) of torque in the first stage, for a quoted list price of 998 euro. The second stage raises that to 220 hp and 420 Nm (309 ft-lb).

For improved handling and looks, B&B also makes available a set of sport tuned springs and several sport silencers, lowering the car by 40 mm.
