Astrum Meera Concept Displays Perfect Form

Sometimes, when you look at a concept car, you just get the feeling this it's the shape of things to come. While we try to educate it throughout our lives, our sense of beauty is innate and primal in its nature. This Astrum Meera definitely ticks all the right design boxes in our opinion.

The coupe conceived by John Baltazar is the embodiment of future tech and design. The concept flaunts several distinctive features that play key roles in safety, sustainability and practical design.

The concept sports a set of rectangular exhausts with built-in sensors to track the level of CO2 emission and alert driver when it goes beyond normal range. The wheels of the car not only look futuristic but also work though magnetic levitation and help make the car not only lighter but faster.

Another unique feature is the side mirrors, which remain hidden when car is parked and roll out once the engine is started. The mirrors also have built-in camera that detect objects and alert the driver if something is in its blind spot.

The rear of the car almost looks like the roof of a house, with its large trunk spoiler that channels the air smoothly and big wheel arches that house massive tires. At the front, the car has a mesh grille with a big ‘Astrum’ logo in gloss black and some small chrome detailing. LED lights help you see where you are going, while 12 more lights on each side add some style and presence to the car.

The two-door coupe offers a 2+2 configuration, with the seats themselves being covered in red leather. The exterior is clad in striking white paint that contrasts with the transparent black roof of the concept.
