2011 Chrysler 300 Teased

Chrysler rolled out part of its refreshed 2011 lineup, with the 2011 Chrysler 200 (formerly the Sebring) and the 2011 Chrysler Town & Country being unveiled at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. Now that the two models are out of media focus, fans’ attention turned to a collection of 2011 Chrysler 300 photos that emerged on the automaker’s website.

Obviously, there are only a few details available at this point, as Chrysler struggles to keep everything hidden from our eyes but gives us a glimpse into how the upcoming model will look like every once in a while.

The collection shows off teaser shots of the 300C trim level. In these photos we get a clear view of the headlights, taillamps and decklid designs. The new model clearly follows the recent pattern in Chrysler designs, with the new corporate-style grille with the sleek new winged Chrysler logo.

The next Chrysler 300 will continue the brand’s steady advance toward the top of the American sedan ladder that it first set foot on with the 2004 release of the 2005 model. It’s been a long time since it began deliveries and it was about time for a refresh.

The model will probably come equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8, and be available with standard rear-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Both engines are specifically designed to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption and emission ratings.

The 300 will be unveiled at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show in January, but until then more information on the vehicle could be released.
