Yamaha TMAX Hypermodified by Larazeth Is A 200 km/h (124 mph) Scooter

If 200 km/h (124 mph) on a scooter seems impossibile, think again, because it is not quite so. At least it is afeasible speed for the Yamaha TMAX scooter Hypermodified by French builder Ludovic Lazareth.

After initially Hypermodifying a wrecked 1991 Yamaha VMAX in his early customizer days, Lazareth has moved interest to other vehicles, as well. As the TMAX already had a sporty and aggressive look, the way was open, and Ludovic Lazareth needed no other incentives.

All that remained was to determine the most suitable features for making modifications so the new TMAX could reach 200 km/h, a rather mental barrier, we'd say. Lazareth decided to install a supercharger, thus being able to increase the scooter's power with a whopping 30%, and taking it to nearly 60 HP.

From the onboard footage it looks like the Hypermodified TMAX reached around 190 km/h (118 mph) on a private track, as this machine is lot street-legal. Not far form the expectations of the development team, but still, not quite there. Some further tweaks and maybe some weight loss could help this unique scooter to reach the desired speed.
