There’s nothing wrong with Audi’s introduction of powerful diesels or posh LED lights, but to be honest, their designs aren’t that impressive unless you go for a big barge like the A7 and fit the biggest shiny wheels and the brightest chrome bits. They even started introducing what they call new design, in the form of refreshed headlights and new grilles that are supposedly hexagonal because they have beveled edges at the top.
But one brand new Audi has missed out on these styling cues, even though it’s only recently mode its arrival on European roads. We are of course talking about the Q5 SUV, seen here as a test vehicle for the facelifted version that’s supposed to arrive in the summer of this year as a 2013 model year car.

It’s easy to spot what the changes are all about. The Grille will be hexagonal, and you’ll have a freshly design headlight to bore all your friends with. On the interior front, we believe the layout from the new A3 will be somewhat translated to the Q5 with the arrival of the facelift.
