When it was unveiled back in 2012, the Volvo S60 Polestar Concept pretty much dropped everyone's jaws.
A Volvo with 508 hp and 575 Nm (424 lb ft) of torque, all-wheel drive and just 3.9 seconds from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph)? Of course everyone was as excited as a kid on Christmas, especially since Christian Dahl, the CEO and founder of Polestar Performance, indirectly let it slip that a production version of the car might actually arrive in Volvo showrooms.

Fortunately, that actually happened, albeit just in Australia for the time being. Unfortunately, the Swedes chickened out from concept car to reality and the production version of the S60 Polestar is essentially a mildly tuned S60 T6 R, with 350 bhp on tap.

Soon, the Polestar version of the S60 will hit European and American shores as well, and the following slightly camouflaged V60 seems to tell us that the range will be expanded with the V60 Polestar as well. Now, if only its power output would be closer to the Polestar concept instead of being just a chip-tuned T6 with better brakes and a good-looking body kit...
