The vehicle, which is also offered in the US as the Freightliner Sprinter, is set to receive a facelift for the 2013 model year. The vehicle came to the marker in 2006, with this W906 generation set to stay until 2017.

The exterior modifications will be focused on the front fasica, where we’ll get a new bumper with LED daytime running lights, and grille, while the headlights will also be redesigned. The changes will have a functional role, increasing the safety rating (especially the pedestrian ones), as well as an aesthetic one, as the van segment is adopting a more car-like image.

The body versions, which include a people carrier, a freight handler, as well as an open-chassis, with multiple wheelbase and roof options, as well as the engines are expected to remain unchanged. As for the production, this will be carried on as before, in Germany, Argentina and China.

Before we end this story, we must tell you that our spy photographers have also snapped the Citan, a city van that will be released by the German company.
