Prada Cadillac and Hot Rod High Heel Shoes

There’s a reason Cadillacs aren’t made with giant fins like in the 1950s, and that’s because those cars stood for too much opulence and greed. You had to have bigger ones than your coworkers who bought their cars a year before, because that meant you were doing better.

But the esthetic appeal of the old birds and the hot rod era is what Prada wanted for their 2012 Spring Summer collection. But it’s not all about the shoes, as the entire line of bags, scarfs, sunglasses and dresses is all 1950s-styled.

But it’s those stilettos and platforms that impress the most, incorporating little wings, flames and even chrome trim pieces, topped off by unique taillights.

We don’t feel nostalgic at all, how about you?

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
