All those folks who said Lamborghini was selling out when it decided to show an SUV concept are probably silent right now. That's because their latest flight of fancy is more impressive than probably all the cars we've seen this year put together.
This race car lookalike is called the Veneno, and it's Lamboghini's way of saying "thank you" to its fans after 50 years of loyalty.

the Veneno has yet to be revealed, but official photos have leaked once again, showing elements we weren't able to see before. The connection to the Aventador is barely visible, but the two cars still share a V12 engine.

The first photos of the interior show a completely changed layout of buttons and plenty off carbon fiber used throughout. The dash, door cards and instrument binnacle have regular weave visible, but the seats have been fabricated using a completely different method, first used for the Urus.

The body of the Veneno has as much in common with racing cars as it does the Aventador. There's more than a passing resemblance to Audi's R18 Le Mans race car, especially in the shape of the headlights and the presence the longitudinal fin stretching from the cabin to the rear wing.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
