Lamborghini seems to be the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show guest star as the Italian sports car manufacturer is going to attend the show and display the company's latest contraption, the Reventon Roadster. Details are still sketchy at this point but here are the first photos with the car that continues to boast the same aggressive and sporty appearance one would expect from a Lamborghini. As we said, there are only a few details available at this point, all of them still unconfirmed until next week when the company will reveal the full list of specs. However, it was rumored that the Reventon Roadster will be powered by a 6.5-liter V12 powertrain that develops as much as 650 HP (478 kW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is matted to a six-speed transmission and comes with all-wheel drive as standard. Since we're talking about a Lamborghini, performance figures are pretty outstanding. For example, the car jumps from a standstill to sixty in just 3.4 seconds and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). Unfortunately, owning a Reventon Roadster might be a dream that will never come true for most of us. The Italian carmaker will only produce a limited edition of 20 units, each of them to be priced at 1.2 million Euros ($1,750,000 USD). autoevolution will be attending the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of these vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions.
