IND Distribution, an American-based tuning company that knows a thing or two about BMWs, has added their latest creatopm to the long list of cars that will surely become favorites for computer or phone desktops and bedroom wall posters. This stunning low-rider JDM M3 was made for their client, Martin, who wanted his performance car to look like it had been tuned by a Japanese company. We don’t know about you, but in our eyes at list, Martin got what he wanted.
Despite the fact that the goal of this build was to deliver a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) styled M3, a lot of track performance parts had to be ordered, like the BMW Motorsport M3 GT4 front lip and tow strap. Also ordered were the Varis Japan GT rear wing paired with the Varis Japan rear diffuser, both made or carbon fiber, that give a the rear of the car just the right Oriental look.
When lowering the stance of the car, IND Distribution went for KW ClubSport coilover springs. The red Volk TE37 wheels measure 18×9.5 inches in the front and 18×10.5 in the rear. Behind them is Brembo brake kit with slotted disks, which was originally meant for the Nissan GT-R.
The engine compartment had also received custom touches, as IND painted a blue female figure on the aftermarket ESS Tuning VT2-600 Supercharger kit’s intake manifold. Inside the JDM M3, the factory back seats were removed and replaced with a rollcage, while the front ones are now a pair from Bride GIAS, with painted seat backs.
Here is what IND Distribution had to say about how and why they built this car: “Martin contacted us and his love for cars was clear in every telephone call conversation we had. Martin loved all things automotive and had previously owned many amazing cars from Europe and Japan. His tastes enveloped the entire spectrum of performance cars, and allowed us to create a car that was designed purely for his enjoyment. We did not have to pay any attention to current trends, to what is popular or what could be seen as unacceptable, but only to Martin’s own passions as a seasoned automotive enthusiast.”
