Not a week goes by without us being stunned by the craziness that is the Chinese car market. Every other luxury sedan gets a long wheelbase, designs are blatantly stolen and the tuning is... well they like gold a lot.

Usually, carmakers that use number to identify their products start from ‘1’ but BYD must have been so disappointed with their city car that they named it with a big fat zero. Also, this probably isn’t a license-built Toyota Aygo, even though it looks exactly the same... if you catch our drift.

And for that extra Japanese touch, one BYD dealer has festooned the F0 with a pink paintjob and all the Hello Kitty parafinalia in the world. The exterior is bad enough, but it’s the interior that will really scare an member of the male sub-species. Pink everything: seat covers, dash, gear lever, pillows, door trim and even a steering wheel cover.
